Vital Management designed two corporate fitness centers for a national Fortune 500 company intent on addressing the health and fitness needs of its 2,000 employees and cutting its overall healthcare costs.
Of its enrolled participants, more than 60% visit one of the centers at least once a week.
About 42% of the company’s employees participate in the program, which includes fitness assessments, programming, weight training circuits and free weights, as well as a safe space to relieve stress, improve their health and wellness, and share time with each other outside the office. The hours of the centers accommodate employees’ work and personal schedules, and include incentives such as employer-sponsored employee rewards and employee reimbursement programs, encouraging greater participation.
